MAJ Christopher S. Fogt commissioned in the US Army in 2008 as a military intelligence officer. He is currently serving in the Army’s World Class Athlete Program (WCAP) at Fort Carson, CO as a coach for the USA Bobsled Team. He has served in numerous units during his sixteen years of service; the 1stCavalry Division, 2nd Infantry Division, and US Army South. He deployed to Iraq from 2010-2011 and recently spent two years at Camp Humphries, South Korea. He is a graduate of the Army Command and General Staff school, Airborne school, and Air Assault School.
MAJ Christopher Fogt competed in three Winter Olympic Games; the 4-man bobsled event at the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver, Canada, the 2-man and 4-man bobsled events at the 2014 Games in Sochi Russia, where he won a silver medal in the 4-man event, and the 4-man event at the 2018 Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
MAJ Fogt graduated with his bachelor degree from Utah Valley University, and has two master’s degrees, a Master of Science in Business and Organizational Leadership from the University of Kansas and a Master of Art in Military Operations from the United States Army School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS).
He currently resides in Highland, UT with his wife and three kids.
This conference convenes businesses in the State of Utah as collaborators, business owners, veteran organizations, etc. from all over the state. You will hear from subject matter experts that cover a variety of topics. We are also going to her from keynote speaker Chris Fogt, a United States Army Major, three time USA Olympian, and Olympic Silver medalist. Additional keynote speakers include leadership from the D'Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) on the State of the Utah Entrepreneur, and a panel of Utah Veteran Owned Businesses.
